The Pexal Tecalum Canada plan is to make their first pieces in November this year. Nineteen of the twenty-six containers of machinery from Spain have already reached Pexal facilities and will be shortly after installation. The plant will be one of the most modern Quebec with a 3000 ton extrusion press equipped with the latest technology.
The field of extruded aluminum, especially directed transport has a niche to fill in the area, but there is demand there is supply and is clearly a sector that is expected to rise.
The plant will employ about 50 workers when fully operational, although currently consists of 10 people who mainly deal management, purchasing, sales, operations and engineering.
From this plant can supply up to 17m profiles, which gives a distinctive feature and interesting company, gifts enable the manufacture of aluminium parts for truck trailers and walkways. The center is located in the technology park in Alma, Quebec.
